The Role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons with clear learning outcomes

• Developing strong classroom routines and positive behaviour management

• Supporting practical science lessons with a focus on safety and understanding

• Assessing pupil progress and using feedback to inform teaching

• Working closely with experienced colleagues within a collaborative Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be due to qualify as an ECT

• A degree in a Science-related subject

• The ability to teach general Science across KS3 and KS4

• A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning

• Willingness to learn, take feedback on board, and develop professionally

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to pupil progress
