What you will do:

• Prepare and evaluate new product proposals.
• Undertake laboratory-scale product development and prepare samples for assessment.
• Assess new raw materials and collaborate with suppliers.
• Provide technical support to commercial teams.
• Support R&D projects and data collection.
• Keep up to date with industry innovations.
• Produce quality documentation and ensure processes are right first time.

What you'll need to succeed:

• A degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, Forensic Science, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Customer-facing experience and a UK driver's licence are desirable.

• A starting salary of up to £25,500, rising to £27,000 after probation.
