Job Description - Science Graduate - Education Outreach Executive

Are you a Science Graduate within Materials Science, Mining Engineering or similar?

My client, an established professional body, are looking for a candidate with in-depth knowledge in this area to deliver presentations and educational courses to children and teachers across the UK.

Education Outreach Duties:
  • Create and develop educational materials (physical and online) to support materials, mining and minerals topics 
  • Delivery of two-day training courses for teachers 
  • Work closely with the Head of Training & Education 
  • Organise the annual teachers conference 
  • Deliver presentations and run practical sessions on polymers

Person Spec:
  • Degree in Science - materials science/mining engineering or related 
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Interest in educational outreach
  • Driving license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
