We are delighted to partner with a high-achieving secondary school in Sutton, renowned for its strong commitment to science education and its supportive learning environment. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department in a full-time, permanent position starting this January. 

Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and nurturing a love of science in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to contribute to a collaborative and innovative science faculty within a school that values academic excellence and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's commitment to inquiry-based learning.


• Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for scientific exploration.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual achievement.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.


• Remain current with pedagogical approaches and developments in science education.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science-related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4).
