Day-to-day of the role:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive science curriculum across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Deliver engaging and inclusive science lessons to students at different levels.
• Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance learning and understanding.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in science education.
• Organise and oversee science-related extracurricular activities and projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate science education across the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in science or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A passion for science and a commitment to student success.
