Are you a motivated Science Teacher ready to inspire students through engaging, hands-on science education? A vibrant secondary school in Chelmsford is seeking a dynamic educator to join their science department from September 2025. This full-time contract role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident practitioner seeking a fresh challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4, using innovative approaches to bring scientific concepts to life. • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and enrichment.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and classroom safety.
  • Contribute to whole-school activities and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • QTS and a degree in a science-related subject (essential).
  • Experience teaching science in a secondary school (preferred).
  • Strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A creative, student-centred approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all pupils.
  • Willingness to engage in wider school life and learning opportunities.
