Science Teacher

Location: Slough, Berkshire

MPS/UPS + Fringe

Start Date: September 2025

These leading special needs school, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team starting in September 2025. We have worked with this school for many years. The staff a friendly and we have placed many teachers here who have worked there for over four years and more!

About The School: This School caters to pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of educational needs, including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple needs, and Autism. Their ethos embraces the belief that all pupils have the right to learn in a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.

Their recent Ofsted inspection in January 2023 rated them as a GOOD school across all areas, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, early years provision, and sixth-form provision. Ofsted highlighted the school's friendly, happy, welcoming, and safe atmosphere, where pupils are confident, independent, and successful.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons tailored to the individual needs of their pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience.
