Are you an experienced Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry?

Tradewind is working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary School based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, seeking a full-time Science Teacher to join their school community from September 2025. The school prides itself on high-quality teaching, excellent student outcomes, and offers a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

Role: Science Teacher

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with a specialism in either Physics or Chemistry
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Mark, assess, and track student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development/share best practice within the Science department
• Promote and implement a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Form Tutor responsibility, supporting the academic and pastoral growth of students

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - or equivalent experience in a relevant teaching/instructor role
• A degree in Science (Physics or Chemistry preferred)
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science with confidence and adaptability
• Strong classroom management skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Enhanced DBS Checked (or willingness to obtain)
• Based in, or commutable to Chesham, Buckinghamshire
