Science Teacher - Long-Term Supply Opportunity in Wigan

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Wigan on a long-term supply basis from after Easter until the end of the academic year in July.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher (QTS) or experienced unqualified teacher to work in a supportive, high-performing school environment teaching KS3 and KS4 Science.

The Role - Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

As a Science Teacher, you will:

Teach engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics content in line with the national curriculum
Plan, assess, and monitor student progress
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning
Work collaboratively within a supportive Science departmentThe Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:

Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Science at secondary level
Can teach across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience desirable)
Is confident with classroom management and engaging learners
Is passionate, reliable, and committed to raising attainmentECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
