Science Teacher - Brent - September Start

A progressive academy in Brent is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a thriving science department.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially A-Level.


• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, incorporating the latest educational technology.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support and intervention.


• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.


• Organise and lead science-related extracurricular activities and clubs.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Strong subject knowledge in all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).


• Experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a proven track record of student success.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.


• Experience with practical science demonstrations and experiments.
