Responsibilities

• Create and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum


• Plan and prepare lessons, ensuring effective differentiation to meet the individual needs of students


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall Science program and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities


• Establish a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes a love for learning


• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress and any concerns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification


• Proven experience in teaching Science, preferably within a primary or secondary school setting


• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students


• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment


• Valid enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK
