🔬 Science Teacher Needed - Cardiff

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Cardiff.

We're looking for a teacher who combines strong Science subject knowledge with excellent behaviour management skills. The ability to establish clear expectations, build positive relationships and confidently manage classroom behaviour is essential for this role.

📚 The Role

You will be responsible for:

Teaching Science across the secondary curriculum
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Creating a positive, safe and purposeful learning environment
Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
Establishing clear boundaries and maintaining high expectations
Building positive relationships with students while maintaining professional authority
Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department
Supporting students with ALN/SEN where required
✅ We're Looking For
QTS or relevant teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Science
Previous experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
Excellent behaviour management skills - essential
Confidence managing challenging behaviour and maintaining classroom routines
Ability to establish clear boundaries and high expectations
Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons
Reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting student progress
EWC registration or willingness to obtain
Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
