Key responsibilities include maintaining precise student laboratory metrics, updating school tracking systems, managing departmental resource logs, and coordinating an extensive timetable of scientific field studies and extracurricular STEM clubs.
You will support seamless communication with parents, regional scientific bodies, and laboratory compliance officers, ensuring that all practical safety assessments, chemical/apparatus logs, and student metrics are processed with total accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary, as the role requires balancing active practical experiments in the lab with detailed coursework logging and academic theory delivery.

A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific field

Professional and proactive approach to managing laboratory health and safety protocols (CLEAPSS / COSHH frameworks)
Good IT and data tracking capabilities, with confidence using digital learning platform tracking systems
