A welcoming secondary school in York is looking to appoint a Science Teacher (ECT) to join its well-resourced science department.
Job Overview
This full-time role starts ASAP or January 2026, teaching KS3 and KS4 Science. You will teach a balanced curriculum across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with support from experienced colleagues.

Salary: MPS (ECT scale)
Science Teacher (ECT) – Experience & Qualifications
Degree in a Science subject
QTS (or completing PGCE)
Ability to teach Science at KS3/4
Legal right to work in the UK
Enthusiasm for teaching science
