About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield, starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent position for a dedicated Science Teacher to teach all aspects of Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in Science.
- Develop students' scientific knowledge, skills, and understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Science Teacher.
- Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular science activities.
- Uphold the school’s ethos of teamwork and support as a valued Science Teacher.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Science.
- Proven experience in teaching Science at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
- Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Science Teacher.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Science.
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
