About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Barnet is seeking a committed Science Teacher to join their science department from September. You will deliver high-quality science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, covering biology, chemistry, and physics.


• Prepare students for GCSE examinations.


• Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead science-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science.


• Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
