The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons that inspire students and develop their scientific understanding.
Students study Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through an ambitious curriculum that promotes scientific enquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Science examinations while encouraging a passion for STEM subjects and further study.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through science clubs, STEM projects, practical workshops, competitions, and enrichment activities.
Teach Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Science examinations
Develop students’ scientific enquiry and analytical skills
Plan and supervise practical investigations safely
Assess progress and provide high-quality feedback
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support STEM enrichment and extracurricular activities

Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level Science
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Experience supporting STEM clubs or enrichment activities
A proven track record of delivering strong student outcomes
