An Independent school in Brent requires a skilled Science Teacher with a Physics specialism, starting September for a permanent, full-time position. You will deliver engaging science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Physics. We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum, focusing on Physics.


• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessments.


• Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills, especially in Physics.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of science resources.


• Potentially lead physics-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science, with a focus on Physics.


• Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to engage and motivate students.
