About the Role

An Independent school in Islington requires a skilled Science Teacher with a Physics specialism, starting ASAP for a temporary, part-time position. The right Science Teacher will deliver engaging physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum, focusing on Physics.


• Prepare students for assessments and examinations.


• Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills in Physics.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of science resources.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science, with a focus on Physics.


• Proven experience teaching science at secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to engage and motivate students.
