Science Teacher with TLR | Brent | All-Through Academy

A dedicated and ambitious Science Teacher with the capacity to take on a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) is required to join a thriving all-through academy in Wembley, London. This is a permanent, full-time position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students aged 3 to 18 with a passion for science and contribute to the academy's commitment to high achievement for all. The TLR will be discussed based on the candidate's experience and the academy's needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across the full age range (Key Stages 1 to 5).


• Assess and monitor student progress in Science, providing effective feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and resources across the academy.


• Undertake specific TLR responsibilities, contributing to the wider development of teaching and learning.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge across a range of scientific disciplines.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
