About the Science Teacher Role

Join our vibrant team at a well-established secondary school in Wolverhampton, where you'll have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

As a Science Teacher, you will engage students in the wonders of science, fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry. You’ll contribute to the academic development of our students in a dynamic, forward-thinking department.

Science Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5


• Differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of all students


• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback


• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment


• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning


• Participate in extracurricular activities, including science clubs and school events

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with a passion for science


• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children


• Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level
