About the Role

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a range of secondary schools across RCT and surrounding areas who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic educators to deliver engaging Science lessons.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT/NQT, this is a fantastic opportunity to join supportive schools and make a real impact in the classroom.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics)
Planning and preparing lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for Science
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team

We’re Looking For:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
✅ Specialism in Science (any discipline)
✅ Strong classroom management skills
✅ A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
✅ A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach

Requirements

We can support you in obtaining:

EWC Registration
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Two professional references
A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
