Job Title: Science Technician
Location: Slough
Pay: £88 - £120 per day (Pay reflective of experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025

Do you have experience working as a Science Technician? Are you looking for a long-term role as a Science Technician? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Slough.The ideal candidate will support the science department in preparing resources, setting up experiments, and ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain equipment and materials for science lessons.
• Support teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments.
• Ensure laboratories and equipment are safe, clean, and well-organised.
• Assist with stock control and inventory.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a lab setting.
