Founded in 2016 by Engineers from Stanford and MIT, and having received £27million in funding, my client is a truly impressive organisation who are breaking boundaries in the scientific world and are on a mission to accelerate industrial R&D. As a high-growth startup now employing 130 talented professionals, they have developed an AI driven R&D platform, used by the world’s leading Chemists, Material Scientists and Biologists, to dramatically accelerate how new products are discovered, developed and brought to market.
My client works with an enviable selection of R&D clients across chemicals, pharmaceuticals, advanced materials and food and beverages and their high-velocity implementation team has been pivotal to their success – with individuals taking ownership of customer projects, within six months. The company provides a proven internal career path, with Scientific Implementation Associates frequently advancing into leadership roles.
Due to continued, fast and strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Scientific Implementation Associate to join them in London and work directly with Chemists, Material Scientists and Researchers to onboard them onto this cutting-edge platform – translating their lab workflows and experimental data into a powerful system of record. Does this sound like the engaging and exciting next step of your career?
As a key member of the implementations team, the key responsibilities for your new role as a Scientific Implementation Associate are as follows:
* Running hands-on implementations for enterprise R&D customers – migrating their legacy data and workflows onto the platform.
* Interpreting and restructuring scientific datasets, making decisions about how to best represent customers’ experimental paradigms.
* Joining and eventually leading customer meetings with Scientists, Technicians and R&D stakeholders.
* Collaborating with Senior Implementation Managers on large enterprise deployments or independently managing SMB accounts.
* Contributing field observations to product and engineering teams to shape the platform’s future.
My client is keen to find someone with a BSc or Masters in a STEM field (Chemistry, Material Science or Chemical Engineering) from a top University. You will also be able to demonstrate strong communication skills / customer-facing presence, data fluency and a particular interest in software.
In return, my client is offering an excellent salary from £50,000, plus an excellent benefits package including equity shares. The role comes with excellent future career prospects and is easily accessible from London and the surrounding areas.
