The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team in Longridge. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA) or an individual qualified by experience. You will manage a portfolio of clients, prepare and review accounts, handle VAT returns, and provide expert advice on personal tax matters, whilst supporting the team around you with reviewing of work, training etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of management accounts, year-end accounts, and VAT returns.
• Managing personal tax matters, including self-assessment tax returns.
• Meeting with clients to discuss financial statements and tax planning strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Providing professional financial advice and guidance to clients.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an accountancy practice minimum.
• Strong knowledge of personal tax and VAT.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
