Job Description - Sea Export Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sea Export Operator to join a globally recognised freight forwarding company in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a dynamic team, handling end-to-end sea export operations for a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing sea export shipments from initial booking to final delivery.
Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents.
Preparing and processing all necessary export documentation (Bills of Lading, customs entries, etc.).
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and customs procedures.
Providing exceptional customer service and proactive communication to clients.
Resolving any operational issues efficiently and effectively.
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.

Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Sea Export Operator within a freight forwarding environment.
In-depth knowledge of sea freight processes, documentation, and customs procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary up to £34k
Up to 36 days holiday
9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch
