Sea Freight Exports Clerk

Our client is a global freight forwarding and Logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.

We are now recruiting for a Sea Freight Exports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe

Key responsibilities

· Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments
· Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
· Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation using Cargowise and ASM Sequoia
· Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
· Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
· Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Experience needed

· Experience of working within Ocean freight forwarding exports
· Knowledge of export procedures
· Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation.
· You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and show the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits
