Position: Sea Freight Export Clerk
Location: Broughton Astley (LE9)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent

Sea Freight Export Clerk Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sea freight export and cross trade bookings in line with customer requirements
• Submit customs declarations in accordance with HMRC regulations
• Process all relevant shipment documentation and information
• Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Track and monitor shipments, ensuring smooth delivery timelines
• Maintain accurate records and status updates in the CargoWise system
• Complete all ACRs and WIPs in a timely manner
• Carry out general administrative tasks related to the shipping process

Sea Freight Export Clerk Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in sea freight operations (essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive team player who can also work independently
• Adherence to company procedures and compliance requirements at all times
