Support Engineer 2nd Line Northamptonshire (Office based) Up to £30,000 + Company Benefits + Company Sponsored Accreditations

The Candidate The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience within the IT support sector and showcase proficiency in various areas, including Active Directory, workstation and server setup, and support. They should also be adept at handling internet router configuration, soft PBX administration, and mobile device management tools. Additionally, a willingness to pursue further formal training to acquire certifications relevant to our product range and avail associated incentives would be advantageous.
The Role: To provide a five-star helpdesk experience to our supported users Inbound support request diagnosis and resolution:
IT
– all issues affecting workstations, servers, networks, data storage etc. Connectivity
– network and router optimisation Telephony
– soft PBX configuration and maintenance Mobile
– wholesale portal admin; mobile device management config / admin.
Monitor RMM dashboard status / alerts and applying corrective action as required. Specialist diagnosis and resolution of escalated and complex issues Fix hardware faults and install upgrades to client hardware. Identify trends adversely affecting service quality and mitigate as appropriate.
The Qualifications - Full sponsorship provided to study for and gain any of the below not already held. IT Support minimum 3 years’ experience – essential Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) – desirable Microsoft 365 Identity and Services (MS-100) - desirable Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (MS-101) – desirable Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700) - desirable Team-player with a professional, friendly, can-do attitude – essential
Must have: Minimum of 1 year of service as a Support Desk Engineer for an MSP Must be within a 20 mile radius of the office with Drivers/Motorbike License
This is an office based opportunity - set in beautiful converted rural property this location is not easily accessible via public transport so it is necessary to have own vehicle - onsite parking is provided
