We are looking for inspiring teachers who can engage students, develop their literacy skills and encourage a love of reading, writing and literature.
The Role
* Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5.
* Teaching English Language and English Literature.
* Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where required.
* Developing students' reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
* Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs.
* Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
* Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations.
* Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
What We're Looking For
* QTS or a relevant teaching qualification.
* A specialism in English Language and/or English Literature.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
* Previous secondary school teaching experience (desirable).
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* The ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.
* A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
* A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
