REED Education is excited to represent a dynamic secondary school in the Stevenage area, seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Spanish Department to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis starting September 2025.

About the Role:

• Position: Head of Spanish
• Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Start Date: September 2025
• Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
• Salary: £31,650.00 - £49,084.00 (MPS/UPS) plus TLR 2 (£3,391 TO £8,279)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Spanish department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans.
• Support and mentor staff within the department.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ideally possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Consideration will be given to candidates with UK teaching experience but without formal qualifications.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Passionate about Spanish language and culture.
