About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive educational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for mathematics and developing critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
• Support the school's ethos and policies, promoting a culture of respect and excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with extracurricular activities related to maths, such as maths clubs or competitions.
• Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
