Secondary school Cover supervisor

We are currently recruiting confident, adaptable, and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Northamptonshire. We are looking for individuals who can step into the classroom and maintain a positive, productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities
Supervising classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
Delivering pre-set work and supporting pupils to stay on task
Managing behaviour in line with school policies and expectations
Ensuring a safe, calm and productive learning environment
Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the lesson/day where required

Requirements
Experience working with young people is desirable (but not essential)
Confident communication skills and strong classroom presence
A professional, flexible and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
