Supply Desk is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Rickmansworth seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team. The school is looking for an individual who can confidently support students across a range of subjects, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure lessons continue smoothly in the absence of teaching staff.

This role offers the opportunity to work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting their learning and development across a variety of subjects. Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or an individual looking to develop a career in education, you'll be joining a school that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise classes and ensure students remain focused and engaged with the work provided by the classroom teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and provide appropriate support to students where required.
• Use a variety of approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
• Create a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated, supported, and confident to learn.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain high standards of discipline in line with the school's policies and expectations.
• Work closely with teaching staff and colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and support student progress.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and participation across all lessons.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Has strong communication and organisational skills.
• Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Has the confidence to manage classrooms and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Is adaptable and able to support students across a range of subjects.
• Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
