Salary: £95 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Hucknall, who are looking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor. The school requires a confident and resilient individual who can manage challenging behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations within the classroom.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, managing classroom behaviour, maintaining a focused learning environment and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

A relevant qualification or degree is desirable

Previous experience working in a secondary school environment

Proven experience of effective classroom management and managing challenging behaviour

Confidence in supervising classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

Strong communication and organisational skills

A resilient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting students
