What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a secondary school
• Strong knowledge of your subject specialism
• High expectations for all pupils
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confidence with planning, assessment and adapting learning where required
• A thorough understanding of safeguarding
• The ability to build positive professional relationships with pupils and school staff
• A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school environments

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The role

Depending on the placement, you may:

• Deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
• Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils
• Plan and assess learning where required
• Provide effective classroom cover for short-term assignments
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, teachers and wider school teams
• Follow individual school policies, procedures and expectations
• Follow school and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all times
