Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £100 – £110 per day

GSL Education is currently seeking a committed and adaptable Secondary Teaching Assistant to join schools in Chesterfield. If you’re passionate about supporting young people through their secondary education and can travel between sites, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Job Responsibilities:
• Support teaching staff in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
• Provide targeted support to students, including those with additional needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment.
• Assist with lesson preparation, resource organisation, and administrative tasks.
• Encourage student engagement, confidence, and academic progress.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and supporting young people.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Full UK Driving Licence and Business Insurance (essential).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
