We’re looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join a national civil engineering contractor on a permanent basis for a roundabout/highways scheme in Colchester.

We need someone who has already worked at Section Engineer level within civil engineering, ideally on highways, roads and associated infrastructure works.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience at Section Engineer level

*

Strong civil engineering background

*

Highways and roads experience essential

*

Good technical and engineering knowledge

*

Setting out and site engineering experience

*

Able to manage and support Site Engineers

*

Comfortable working with drawings, specifications and QA documentation

*

Good understanding of H&S and site procedures

*

Able to work closely with the Site Agent and wider project team

This is a permanent role with a national contractor offering a strong pipeline of infrastructure and highways projects beyond this scheme.

Good opportunity for an experienced Section Engineer looking for long-term work and progression with a major civils contractor.
