Section Engineer - Civils | Site based - Peterhead, ABERDEEN
Please note: This role is not based in Glasgow - it is based near Aberdeen.
* Rate: Negotiable hourly rate, depending on experience - all inclusive
* IR35: Inside IR35
* Location: Near Peterhead, Aberdeen
* Duration: Expected 18 months initially, with potential extensions
* Working pattern: Site-based, Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm, plus Saturday, 7am–1pm - 66 hours per week
We’re recruiting an experienced Section Engineer for a power & transmission infrastructure construction project in Peterhead, near Aberdeen.
You’ll carry out complex setting out, establish engineering control and support junior engineers. Responsibilities include quality records, RAMS, temporary works briefs, weekly programmes and monitoring labour, plant and quantities.
Key requirements:
* Demonstrable civil engineering or infrastructure experience, ideally five years or more.
* Strong practical setting-out and engineering control skills.
* Experience with Activity Control Plans, construction tolerances and quality documentation.
* Understanding of permit systems, subcontractor requirements and site programme delivery.
* Must have existing right to work in the UK without sponsorship
