Full-time, Monday to Friday – 08.00 -17.00

Responsibilities:

* Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible

* Remedial and small works

* Preventative maintenance

* Client on site liaison

* Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre

* Act as a Fidelity ambassador when out in the field

* Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail

* Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.

* Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training

* Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices

* Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota

Key Skills:

* Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all disciplines of integrated Security and Life Safety Systems.

* Technically strong on electrical principles

* Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills

* Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and standards

Personal Attributes:

·Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues

·Multi-disciplined Service Engineer

·Team orientated

·Strong time-management skills

·Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems

·Proactive

·Able to run works autonomously

·The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers

Salary and Benefits:

·£32,000 - £40,500, depending on skills and experience

·Company vehicle and fuel card

·Out of hours On Call is required roughly one week in six.£385/week standby payment, plus callouts at:£90 for travel to and first hour on site, your standard overtime rate for subsequent hours
