Security Consultant

• HLD/LLD of network, infrastructure or security as well as experience implementing solutions.
  
• Vulnerability Analysis, Management and scanning solutions experience: Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.
  
• Firewall management and implementation: Cisco, Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, etc.
  
• Strong Networking experience, with experience of load balancers and proxy technologies.
  
• Cloud Network design.
  
• Cloud Infrastructure design: IaaS, PaaS and/or SaaS.
  
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  
• Knowledge of Security Policies and Guidance e.g. ISO, NIST, NCSC, MoD Security Standards and Policies.
  

Requirements

• Review statements of work with customers before commencing work.
  
• Interact and build relationships with senior client stakeholders, lead meetings and present when required.
  
• Produce required documentation.
  
• Conduct post -installation handover and signoff.
  
• Manage time effectively and have a consultative approach to multiple clients.
  
• Actively engage with company and external training.
  
• Quality Review other consultants reports, manage the workload of junior consultants, engineers and technicians (including verification of quality).
  
• Grow the business by identifying further support opportunities with existing and potential new clients.
  
• Work competently on an independent basis.
  
• Work collaboratively in a multidiscipline team.
  

• Certified Professional (CCP) scheme, Senior in SIRA or IA Architect
  
• CCNA level certification and experience within industry
  
• Microsoft Associate or Expert certified and experience within industry
  
• SANS 4xx level
  
• Security+
