Security Lead Commissioning Engineer

Role: Security Lead Commissioning Engineer
Salary: £47,000 DOE + Door to Door + Van (personal use permitted @ 40p per mile)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Shift: 40 hours per week (08:00–16:00)
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x (minimum 8 hours OT paid for scheduled out-of-hours work)
On Call: 1 in 9 rota (£25 per day standby + overtime rates + D2D)

Are you an experienced Security Lead Commissioning Engineer with strong enterprise security system knowledge looking for a senior technical role? My client is expanding and looking for a highly skilled engineer to take a leading role across complex projects in London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist organisation delivering integrated security solutions across commercial, critical infrastructure and high-end enterprise environments.

As a Security Lead Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for:
Commissioning and testing integrated security systems on large projects
Working across Access Control, Intruder, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Intercom systems
Leading technical delivery and supporting other engineers on site
Troubleshooting complex system integration issues
Ensuring successful system handover to clients
Producing detailed commissioning documentation

The successful Security Lead Commissioning Engineer will have the following experience:
Exceptional experience across enterprise security systems
Strong commissioning experience on integrated systems
Advanced knowledge of Access Control, Intruder, CCTV, Fire Alarms and Intercoms
Experience working on complex multi-system environments
Strong technical problem-solving ability
Team leadership or mentoring experience desirable

The Security Lead Commissioning Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes:
£47,000 DOE
Door-to-door pay
Company van (personal use permitted @ 40p per mile)
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday off
On-call rota (1 in 9) with standby and OT enhancements
Enhanced overtime rates (1.5x / 2x)
Progression into senior / project leadership roles
