Security Officer – 4 on 4 off Rotation (Days & Nights)

💷 Rate: £12.21 per hour (Approx. £512.82/week)
📆 Pay: Monthly – Second Tuesday of each month

About the Role

Britsafe is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer for a key site in Rotherham. This is a rotating shift role that includes both day and night shifts, so flexibility is essential. You will play a critical part in site security operations, combining front-line safety duties with computer-based monitoring and reporting.

Your Schedule

• 4 on, 4 off rotation

• 4 day shifts followed by 4 days off

• 4 night shifts followed by 4 days off

• Average 42 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing

• Booking in visitors and contractors upon arrival

• Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to activity

• Answering and handling calls via the site phone system

• Conducting internal and external security patrols

• Locking and unlocking site access points

• Using internal IT systems – basic Microsoft Office and computer literacy required

• Writing incident reports and maintaining security logs

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous security experience preferred

• Must be available for both day and night shifts on a rotating basis

• Strong IT and communication skills

• Professional, punctual, and well-presented

• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations

• (Optional: Valid SIA Licence – include if required)
