Security Officer – Bishopton (PA6 7BG)

£13.60 per hour

Contracted Hours: 42 per week

Shifts: Days, Nights, and Weekends

Must have Valid UK Driving Licence & Access to Vehicle

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Relief Security Officer to join our team in Bishopton. This role offers stability, professional development, and the opportunity to work within a secure and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide a visible and professional security presence

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including perimeter and internal checks

- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

- Carry out ID and vehicle checks in line with site procedures

- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies

- Report and record all incidents accurately in occurrence logs and systems

- Perform health and safety checks and report hazards or unsafe conditions

- Maintain vigilance to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or damage

- Support site staff and visitors by offering professional customer service

- Follow all site-specific procedures and instructions, including emergency protocols

- Operate security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control

- Liaise with emergency services when required

Requirements:

- Valid SIA Licence

- Valid UK Driving Licence

- Must have 5 years of checkable work history

- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

- Must be a British citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years

- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
