We are Dalkia UK, a leading technical facilities management business who provide facilities services to EDF Energy's corporate estates Nationwide.
We have a

permanent Security Officer

role available in

Aztec West, Bristol .
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday:
6:00am – 2:00pm, and 2:00pm– 10:00pm
shift rotation
40 hours per week
Responsibilities
Providing a safe and secure environment for all with a high level of customer service
Monitoring and analysing Security Systems
Taking the lead in identifying Risks and where appropriate applying mitigation / escalating issues to relevant stakeholders within the business
Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
Reporting incidents / occurrences via agreed lines of communication
Being familiar with and follow Assignment Instructions covering all areas but specifically Emergency Preparedness.
Staff, visitor & contractor management
Ensuring compliance with site rules together with wider business directives and legislation
Requirements
SIA Licence – Door Supervisor / Security Guarding Front Line
Experience of working within the Security Industry
Checkable 5 year work history with the ability to obtain SC Vetting status.
Holds or is willing to undertake First Aid at Work training (at company cost)
Good standard of spoken & written English
Able to work shifts including weekends & nights
A good standard of IT literacy
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
Maintain a professional conduct
