Security Officer

JOB TITLE: Security Officer

LOCATION: Xsite Braehead, Renfrewshire

PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour

WORKING HOURS: Full time (40h per week)

Schedule:

8 & 10 hour shifts
5 over 7 day weeks a mix of days & nights
10 week rotation ( easier to forecast your holidays)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

PLEASE NOTE THAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ASKED TO WORK TOWARDS OBTAINING A CCTV LICENCE if they do not hold one already.

To readily interact with all visitors / tenants within the buildings, delivering a world class customer focused service
Carry out regular patrols of the centre as detailed in the security assignment instructions being proactive and always following the company security strategy
Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful always whilst carrying out duties to the highest levels
Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors to the centre proactively helping wherever opportunities arise
Intelligent understanding of human behaviour, monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals logging and reporting incidents in line with company and centre policies
Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events

Person Specification:

Verbal and written English is essential due to the nature of the business

Customer service: 1 year (Desirable)

Full UK driving license
