Salary:
UofG Grade 7, £39,347 - £44,263 per annum.
This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open ended. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
Flexibility will be required to cover operational hours between 06.00 and 22.00, with some shifts between 22.00 and 06.00 and also at weekends as defined by operational requirements.

This is a great opportunity for a Security Operations Manager to join the University’s Estates Directorate on a permanent basis.
In this role you will support the Head of Security to provide effective leadership and management to a team of Security Duty Managers and Security Officers to deliver cost-effective high-quality services, drive continuous development and implementation of security strategy and policy, crisis management and emergency planning strategy and procedures in support of the University’s objectives.
You will provide professional advice, guidance and information on security matters to enhance the quality of customer and student experience and achieve the best possible levels of service and customer engagement.
You will support the Head of Security to continuously develop and embed security policy, procedures, operational plans, and cultural change across the service.
