We are currently seeking two experienced Security Service & Repair Engineers to join a long-term social housing contract across South London.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent subcontract work with a well-established security contractor. The initial assignment will run for 12 months, with the potential to continue throughout the wider eight-year housing contract.
You will work across occupied residential properties, carrying out planned maintenance, fault-finding and reactive repairs on access control and door-entry/intercom systems. The contract primarily uses Entrotec equipment.
Scope of Work The successful engineers will be responsible for:
Servicing and maintaining access control, door-entry and intercom systems
Working predominantly with Entrotec equipment
Planned preventative maintenance
Fault-finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs
Completing small remedial works and system repairs
Completing service reports and associated documentation
Collecting parts and equipment from the client’s office when required
Ensuring all work meets current industry standards and client requirements
Delivering excellent customer service within occupied residential properties
Working independently and managing a daily workload across South London
Location Work will be carried out across social housing properties throughout South London.
Contract Details £250–£280 per day, depending on experience

Potential for ongoing work across an eight-year housing contract

Requirements Proven experience servicing and repairing electronic security systems
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with access control, intercom and door-entry systems
Entrotec experience is highly desirable
Previous social housing or residential maintenance experience is advantageous
Valid DBS or willingness to complete a new DBS check
Full UK driving licence
Own tools and suitable transport
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Professional and comfortable working in occupied residential properties
