Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12 hour shifts - average 42 hours per week

Pay: £13.88 per hour

Location: Cammell Laird - Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH41 9BP

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,
for an experienced Security Supervisor to join our established security team
based at Cammell Laird in Birkenhead.

As
Security Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Security
team, ensuring all duties are carried out to a high standard while working
closely with management and the client to meet both company and client expectations. You will be required as supervisor to monitor
the performance of security officers across multiple security locations on the
site.

The successful candidate must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor
licence as a minimum and have previous supervisory experience.

Duties
include:

• Daily liaison with the client management team
  
• Daily
  supervision of a workforce of up to 16 security officers per shift rotation
  
• Monitoring officer performance including
  compliance with site procedures, patrol frequencies and work instructions
  
• Assisting
  with the investigation of incidents and accidents
  
• Conducting
  proactive site patrols and identifying any security threats or breaches
  
• Escalating any Security/Health and Safety
  incidents to the Contracts Manager and working in accordance with the site
  Assignment Instructions and the customer Standard Operational Procedures
  
• Monitoring the welfare of site employees and
  contributing to the annual appraisal process
  
• Monitoring
  security officer competency and identifying training needs
  Support the Anchor Operations Centre with the
  allocation of site staff to customer assignments including the mitigation of
  issues arising as a result of shift blow outs
• Conducting
  on-site investigations and reports
  
• Collation of relevant documentation for
  submission to the Contracts Manager ensuring compliance
  

Requirements

• Full 5-year employment checkable history
  
• Valid frontline SIA Licence
  
• Valid UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  
• Good interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  
• Competent in the use of IT systems
  
• Good communication and leadership skills
  
• Experience of operating in a similar security
  role
  
• Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office software.
