Segment Installer

We are currently recruiting Green Tunnel Segment Installers to join a major infrastructure project at Greatworth Green Tunnel.

The Role

As a Green Tunnel Segment Installer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of precast concrete structural units within the green tunnels.

Duties will include:

* Erecting and positioning precast concrete structural units.

* Attaching and detaching slinging arrangements to precast concrete units.

* Slinging and signalling crane operations.

* Banking and directing crane movements during lifting operations.

* Ensuring precast units are positioned accurately and safely.

* Working as part of a team to maintain safe and efficient site operations.

* Following all site health, safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

The successful candidates will have:

* A40A Slinger/Signaller – All Duties

* IPAF ticket

* Harness trained

* Level 2 NVQ in Erection of Precast Concrete – Structural, or willingness to enrol once established on the project.

* Previous experience working with precast concrete structures would be highly advantageous.

* Strong commitment to health and safety.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
